The Senior Vice President, Sales for Allied Universal Technology Services (AUTS) provides companywide commercial leadership, industry thought leadership, strategic direction and tactical oversight of the Company’s Sales and Sales Support organizations. The Senior Vice President, Sales provides direction, coaching, mentoring and indirect management of key stakeholders comprising the Sales and Sales Support organizations, including but not limited to General Managers, Sales Professionals (AE, EAE, AM, EAM), Sales Specialists and Solutions Architects. The Senior Vice President, Sales works collaboratively with the President, AUTS on go-to-market strategies, competitive differentiation themes, sales incentive programs, sales compensation parameters, demand generation campaigns, and other strategic initiatives. The Senior Vice President, Sales collaborates with the SVP Operations, Regional Vice Presidents, General Managers and Area Sales Managers on performance management, strategic alignment, operational efficiencies, CRM engagement, forecasting, reporting and analysis, and other tactical issues. The SVP Sales works directly with Sales Professionals as needed to develop selling skills and tactics. The position also engages with Sales Professionals along with the Director of Strategic Solutions on specific deal strategies and tactics, as well strategic account planning. Along with the President and the EVP Operations, the Senior Vice President, Sales cultivates a culture of success and ongoing business targets achievement. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned: Provides strategic direction and tactical management to Sales and Sales Support organizations Responsible for companywide achievement of bookings and booked gross margin targets as established by the President / CEO Provides oversight and compliance assurance for the Company’s Account Management Methodology (AMM) Ensures institutionalized usage of, and compliance with the Company’s CRM platform, workflow and policies Provides quality assurance and detailed oversight of large, complex sales opportunities Provides sales training and professional development to General Managers and Sales Professionals Develops annual budgets and oversees monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasting processes Engages with key customers as needed to ensure relationship viability, resiliency and profitability Makes key investment decisions on sales opportunities, optimizing lifecycle profitability while ensuring competitiveness Oversees development and implementation of Sales tools and best practices Leads and assists multi-disciplinary capture teams in pursuit of new business opportunities Defines hiring and termination criteria for Sales Professionals, and oversees field performance management as needed to ensure compliance Defines and approves Sales policies, compensation and incentive programs Collaborates with Marketing regarding strategies, demand generation, “voice of the customer”, communications, lead generation, vertical market penetration and competitive positioning Routinely compiles and analyzes data on industry competitors, manufacturers and trends Routinely liaises with supply chain partners to ensure strategic alignment, relationship resiliency and profitability Participates in industry events representing the company as a senior executive, thought leader, innovator and disruptor QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
