TRISTAR is seeking a Navy Validator IV for our upcoming government customer located in Crane, IN
The Navy Validator has an excellent understanding of the C&A process
10 years of experience
Experience in an IA or C&A related field. Satisfies provisions of CNSS no. 4016 (Risk Analyst)
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all C&A subject areas with in-depth familiarity and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems and infrastructure; applies Navy C&A guidance to Navy C&A efforts
Experience working with Navy C&A efforts as a Navy Validator
Strong writing skills to develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, Privacy Impact Assessments, Certification Reports, Accreditation Reports, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and other C&A documentation
Demonstrates oral and written communication skills to work closely with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems.
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field of study
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Science Discipline with a Computer Science Minor or concentration, Informatics, Cyber Security, or Engineering discipline - Preferred
Requires certification through the Navy or Marine Corps AO as a Navy or Marine Corps Validator - IAM Level I Certification
