Merakey is currently seeking Behavioral Interventionists to join our Autism Specialty school in our Scranton location.

The Behavior Interventionist provides behavioral modification support to the classroom. This position will also create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans as well as engage in data collection and progress reporting. Along with providing classroom behavior modification techniques

This position supports students in the classroom with use of behavioral techniques. This position will provide a positive environment to support positive outcomes in the classroom.

General Responsibilities:

1. Work one-one-on or with group in school setting

2. Provide direct behavioral support to students.

3. Implement preventative actions to prevent behavioral concerns

4. Provide Behavioral interventions as needed with students

5. Verbal processing of events and other therapeutic services as needed

6. Follow Clinical guidance from Clinical Specialist

7. Co-facilitate group session with Clinical Specialist. Facilitate group session on own when Clinical Specialist is not available.
