Candidate will support certification and accreditation of the Navy Clipboard Tool and the provided architecture and the intended Naval shipboard environment. The typical lifecycle for RMF approval in Naval Shipboard environments takes 18 months. Software engineer willprovide:
Guidance in understanding the expected processes, artifacts, products, and other requirements for DoD and DoN (Navy) ATOs and IATTs for PSHI and related software and hardware packages
Assistance in interfacing with government personnel regarding the pursuit of ATOs and IATTs
Assistance in creating expected and required products and artifacts for pursuing ATOs and IATTs, including providing outlines and templates
Assistance in applying security controls to hardware and software
Assistance in preparing packages to support the RMF and Ship Change Documentation processes
Assistance in responding to government requests for product, artifact, and package updates
Must have experience in NIST/RMF and associated standards. DoD exeperience a plus.
SKILLS: Navy subject matter expert who understands Navy RMF process and has submitted PEO C4I & Space software and systems recently for certification and accreditation.
