What You'll Bring:
Perform all data analysis duties using databases, as needed, IT systems, including Excel, SQL Server, and other proprietary and third party systems
Research, develop, test, and document methodologies/models, procedures and related processes for Global Solutions data and analysis
Willingness and ability to consistently assert point of view in a non-confrontational manner
Capable of translating data trends into tangible concepts/ideas or solutions (demonstrate thought leadership)
Proficiency with computer systems, data and analytical concepts
What we'd prefer to see:
Understanding of credit reporting industry helpful
Detail-oriented, mathematically inclined and have the ability to work independently
Bachelor's degree in fields such as mathematics, business, finance, economics, statistics or equivalent is preferred.
Impact You'll Make:
The individual in this position will proactively work within the Solutions Strategy and Planning team to provide valuable industry/market, customer, financial and product driven insight that will be leveraged in the Solutions strategic planning and as needed, the product development processes. In addition, this individual will be expected to work effectively across teams and draw upon resources within TransUnion in order to facilitate and support the development and execution of complex initiatives. Duties include:
Performs a range of analysis supporting strategic decisions and insights including market analysis, competitive analysis, financial analysis including business cases and product analysis
Validates accuracy of data and provides analysis to highlight unusual trends
Completes data analysis duties in a timely fashion for each assigned project
Ensures accuracy of results by conducting thorough quality assurance reviews on each report prior to distribution
Co-ordinates with internal resources on complex research and analysis from idea generation through implementation
Quickly understands industry trends related to global solutions
Creates and/or follows detailed project plans to ensure projects are completed on time
Generates reports using queries and report templates, modifying these queries as required
Undertakes ad hoc analysis and reporting for cross team distribution as required
Performs other related duties as assigned.
