We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP), Sales and Marketing. We are looking for a creative, innovative thinker, who has the ambition and drive to steer the organization forward. The SEVP will have the ability to showcase their innovation and strategic mindset by continuing to transform the organization through their leadership, strategy creation, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization's sales and marketing functions. The SEVP, Sales and Marketing reports to the CEO.
What You Will Do:
As the organization's senior-most sales and marketing leader, the SEVP, Sales and Marketing is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales and marketing objectives with firm business strategy.
Aligns the sales and marketing objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Set the strategic direction of our marketing programs to include, E-commerce, analytics, customer acquisition/retention, promotions, social media, and all digital content.
Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
Collaborates and communicates at all levels of the organization to meet corporate goals.
Understanding the current and emerging trends to ensure that the organization's offerings are meeting current and future customer's needs.
Establishes strong relationships with strategic, key accounts to foster high business retention through increased business solution deployment.
Identifies key strategic targets for the organization based on organizational fit, resource availability, capacity and marketing considerations.
Provides market and customer strategy updates to the Operating Board, as appropriate.
Leads learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization, and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent.
Establishes and governs the sales and marketing performance management.
Provides leadership to the sales and marketing leadership teams, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
Achieves assigned organizational objectives for sales, profits, volume, product mix, and other strategic goals.
Supports the achievement of strategic objectives critical to other functional areas within the organization.
Travel requirements up to 80%.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive industry leadership experience required; with at least 10 years of direct management experience, including demonstrated success leading and motivating teams as well as managing cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in healthcare or distribution expected; previous additional experience with commercial (non-healthcare) markets a plus.
Government contracting knowledge or experience is also highly desired.
Proven leader with demonstrated experience in building teams.
Successful sales and promotional record.
Proven knowledge of industry's products and services; exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods.
Working knowledge of implementing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion.
Financially astute and able to create ROI.
Capable of conducting independent research.
Exhibits strong interpersonal, negotiation and customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and present comprehensive reports.
Ability to function well in a high-paced, competitive and at times stressful environment.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Nationwide. This role can be located near an existing distribution center; however, job duties can be performed in a remote work environment with easy access to a commercial airport.
