The American Academy of Pediatrics is seeking a Social Media Content Producer in our Washington, DC office. This is a one-year full-time, grant-funded position.
This individual will develop social media content for AAP’s accounts, reaching pediatrician and parent audiences as well as the general public, and support opportunities to maximize the AAP’s social media footprint and digital reach.
We are seeking an individual with two to three years’ related experience contributing to or managing social media platforms, including the development, execution, and analysis of social media content and use of tools and platforms to track and assess social media efficacy. We are looking for an exceptional writer with strong attention to detail and the ability to draft clear and concise social media content. A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience is required.
