At Northern Safety & Industrial, a member of the Würth Group, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager for our Flowery Branch, GA location who will handle the overall management and inventory of the location’s Warehouse. This includes the implementation of all operational and warehousing activities while maintaining a focus on the customer experience through customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working to develop and make adjustments of the staff schedule and assist with directing of the warehouse on a day-to-day work plan. Addressing any attendance or punctuality issues.
  • Maintaining order accuracy, productivity levels and training to ensure a well-coordinated warehouse.
  • Directing the inventory in regards to out-of-stocks, receiving errors, selection errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
  • Generating warehouse productivity reports and adhering to budget requirements to obtain division goals.
  • Maintaining the warehouse and equipment to ensure associates have a safe, clean and efficient workplace.
  • Being a working leaderin the warehouse by performing all functions associated with returns and the Helpdesk; processing and maintaining key indicator warehouse reports; tracking all orders and resolving any order issues; training all warehouse associates on warehouse operations and performing daily cycle counts.
  • Motivating, encouraging and developing associates to reach optimum productivity. Advising all associates on company policies, procedures, organizational goals and objectives, planning, and measurement of work performance.
  • Handling interviews, hiring and training of associates; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Suggesting changes in work processes to increase overall efficiencies.

 

The chosen Warehouse Manager will possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 5-7 years' warehouse related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a Warehouse Management field. Excellent computer and analytical skills are essential to perform job tasks, with a solid knowledge of Excel. The candidate must have superb written and oral communication skills, proven leadership abilities, strong organizational skills and the ability to be objective and open-minded when working with other associates, team leaders and managers.
