The Human Resource Manager works with local Management to plan, implement, and provide guidance for HR programs in the field, including employment, employee relations, recruiting & retention, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance with applicable HR Federal, State & local laws. Functions as a liaison between field supervision and employees when problems are not resolved quickly. Provides leadership and consulting support to local management on talent acquisition & development, employee relations, compliance, and total rewards. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Coordinates alignment of business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
Consults with management on human resource-related issues, suggests new HR strategies, and provides HR guidance when appropriate.
Evaluates and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates needs with the HR Department and business management.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, addresses grievances, and conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees in order to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance; partners with the Legal Department when necessary.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources and/or experience in related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources generalist role
PHR certification preferred
Experience with an HRIS and ATS
Excellent verbal and written communication and diplomacy skills with all levels of employees
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of the organization
Able and willing to travel to other business unit locations
