Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a Resident Construction Manager (RCM) for our Pittsburgh office.   Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Field management of mechanical construction projects
  • Provide project document control
  • Inspect and document construction activities under client's policies and procedures
  • Supervise project insepction staff
  • Review and approve contractor pay estimates
  • Conduct and document project progress meetings and provide meeting minutes
  • Draft correspondance for client review
  • Review and negotiate change orders and contractor claims and make recommendations to the client

  • Five years of expereince
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or mechanical equivilent expereince
  • Expereince in field management of construction projects preferred
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experince working with public clients
  • PE license
  • Experince with Port Authority of Allegheny County or Allegheny County Airport Authority
