Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Construction Administrator for our Atlanta, GA (Zonolite Rd) office.   Duties and Responsibilities:   Senior Construction Administrator - Buildings   Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand construction documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Perform contract review
  • Review shop drawings
  • Respond to contractor RFI’s
  • Monitor all phases of project construction, maintain master project files
  • Document and track on site observations and punch list items
  • Perform conflict resolution and coordination in the field
  • Provide filed direction on typical coordination issues and documentation of all field directives.
  • Establish best practice methodologies in the effort to achieve the highest quality construction, while working within approved budgets and prescribed schedules.
  • Work extensively with the project team (architects, engineers, general contractors, code consultants) in the development and execution of the construction plans
  • Responsible for assisting in bidding
  • Responsible for the WSP construction documents with construction team
  • Perform periodic site visits and inspect progress of projects
  • Attend site meetings when construction field issues arise
  • Ensure that work is completed in conformity with design and Company requirements
  • Responsible for weekly progress reports
  • Participate in project turnover
  • Oversee and coordinate punch list activities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working in high volume capacity
  • Solid decision making skills based on changing conditions
  • Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere
  • Travel as required

  • 5-7 years construction experience assisting with bidding process, coordinating punch list activities, performing site visits and inspections.
  • Experience working in high volume environment, managing multiple projects
  • Profiency with Excel
  • Construction Management degree or Engineering degree   
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
