Develop, define, document, analyze, perform, and hardware and software for products, systems, components, or modifications.
Create, update, maintain, and execute test procedures
Work closely with hardware and test software
Maintain all records, and documentation related to Production workflow
Repair test equipment and troubleshoot if necessary
Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions.
Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
Develops systems and computer programs for digital data acquisition to be used in testing new products and as part of the quality control system within the manufacturing process.
Reviews customer requirements and specifications to ensure that tests will confirm that these are satisfied.
Prepares proposals for testing programs, outlines specific testing conditions, and develops operating procedures.
Establishes procedures for ongoing quality control testing as part of the regular production process.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
May lead and direct the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Other Duties as Assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or Physics
4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
VHDL and/or Verilog with demonstrated experience in designing and developing digital signal processing algorithms on FPGAs
Xilinx FPGA tools experience
Programming in C; C++ and Java a plus
Programming FPGA Test Loads (Xilinx, Microsemi)
Experience with Testing PCB and Electronic Systems
Experience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Multi-meters
Create and Setup the Testing Processes and Procedures
Document Process and all Testing Data
Good working knowledge of MS Office software.
Creative mind to troubleshoot, find and resolve problems.
