Job Description

Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is seeking qualified personnel to support a contract within the Intelligence Community as a Cyber Security Engineer. The location of the position will be Fort Belvoir, VA.

The Cyber Security Engineer shall implement cyber security solutions, standards and procedures across the cyber, Distributed Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination, and other Information Technology architectures to ensure information confidentiality, integrity and availability in compliance with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Army, and DoD polices and standards.

The Cyber Security Engineer must be able to:

  • Develop the System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation and policy and procedures requirements
  • Implement and maintain a continuous monitoring plan
  • Scan systems and review and validate vulnerability scan results at the Operating System (OS) and application level, and perform detailed analysis in support of OS and application level vulnerabilities

Requirements:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • BS in Engineering, Technology, Cyber Security with at least 5 years’ experience, OR 10 years’ experience in Cyber Security Engineer
  • Current DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II or higher (e.g. CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC)
  • 5 years’ experience implementing cyber security solutions, standards and procedures across Intelligence Community efforts to ensure information confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and capabilities;
  • 5 years’ experience ensuring environments are in compliance IAW ICD 503 Risk Management Framework and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and emerging DoD polices;
  • 5 years’ experience enabling security implementation, testing and evaluation of capabilities IAW the Risk Management Framework and implement and maintain continuous monitoring solutions;
  • 5 years’ experience developing System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report, Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation policy and procedures requirements;
  • 2 years’ experience reviewing and validating vulnerability scan results at the Operating System (OS) and application level and perform detailed analysis in support of OS and application level vulnerabilities;
  • 2 years’ experience using Fortify, ACAS, Nessus or other code scan results which may not be a part of the current system;
