Job Description

WSP USA seeks a professional in the field of design visualization and 3D model-based design for the transportation engineering and infrastructure industry in our Denver, CO or Seattle, WA office. This is a mid-level position requiring delivery of high-quality, innovative visualization solutions supporting the project lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for production and coordination of visualization services on projects, researching and implementing new and emerging technologies, and helping establish the overall vision and innovation strategy for design visualization capabilities within an international transportation consulting practice.   The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and be adept working in a team environment.  Position requires extensive multi-tasking on a daily basis, with the ability to self-manage tasks on multiple short- and long-term projects.  Individuals must be articulate, attentive listeners, adept at client relations, and able to think outside the boundaries of traditional design. Position requires collaboration with marketing staff, business development managers, project managers, and technical experts.   Duties and Responsibilities
  • Apply leading visualization tools and technologies in support of planning, design/construction support, and public outreach communications
  • Implement BIM/3D design specifications and practices
  • Contribute to strategic marketing efforts and presentations
  • Implement efficient workflows 
Requirements Minimum Qualification
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the delivery of visualization services for transportation, architectural and/or engineering industry
  • B.S./B.A. in related field
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures .
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • Proficiency in the use of Autodesk 3ds Max
  • Proficiency with advanced render engines (V-Ray)
  • Ability to understand plan and design documents and transpose them into 3D models
  • Understanding of CADD applications (Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit, Bentley MicroStation)
