Job DescriptionThe person in this role must be able to interact with others at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, calm, resourceful and efficient. This position requires a professional demeanor, sense of urgency, results-focus, and the ability to keep sensitive material and conversations strictly confidential. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally importantResponsibilities include full calendar management, purchase requisition and other business processes, scheduling meetings and travel, expense reimbursement, communication support and other special projects as requested. Additionally, this role will own and manage team calendar and communication strategy, Microsoft TEAMS sites, budgeting, and ad hoc projects as required.Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to,Purchase Requisitions & Contract Management: Manage and own processes for effectively managing purchasing requisitions and other corporate policy requirements. Partners with cross-function teams as needed and assist business owners with Vendor & Service Agreements (e.g., PO Requests) for Accounts Payable processing. Ensures proper contract documentation in accordance with corporate policy.Coordination and logistics support of VP hosted meetings and events, both on and off-site.Cross-functional collaboration within the Biogen community of administrative assistants.General administrative support with little supervision, track and follow up on urgent and pending issues, and maintain working knowledge of relevant Biogen policies and procedures and be prepared to provide information in this regard as required.QualificationsExpert verbal and written communication skills; highly polished and articulateExcellent interpersonal skillsExpert organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work in an accurate manner.Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to perform tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office & databases for timecards, expense reporting.Ability to exercise sound judgment and determine priorities.Demonstrated experience problem-solving and proactively dealing with complex, ambiguous situations with diplomacy and tact.Demonstrated experience in execution and accountability for project coordination.Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in administrative support function.Experience supporting multiple people and projects simultaneously is preferred.Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience.Additional InformationThis Senior Executive Administrator role will report into the Vice President of US CommercialExcellence & Operations (CE&O) and provide general administrative and project management support to the VP, as well as secondary support tothe US CE&O Leadership Team, as needed.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.PDN-fb5d5363-4255-4f23-8439-bdefdb295f8f
