The Vehicle Logistics Coordinator is responsible for initiating innovative process improvement, assisting management with the presentation of written proposals for the acquisition of cost-effective business materials and/or processes, and ensuring efficient distribution, justification, inventory, maintenance, repair, and replacement of all vehicles/equipment issued to the SIS security personnel. Finally, the Logistics Specialist will work closely with internal and external vendors and on-site Client personnel and SIS corporate management to fulfill necessary tasks. The Vehicle Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Watch Commander.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including but not limited to the clients' employees, dealer associates, OEM partners and their associates, and facilities personnel.
Promptly respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete all company or client assignments as required.
Follow relevant safety guidelines and regulations, regulatory agencies, and traffic laws.
Practice safe driving, be aware of road conditions in the area and utilize the best routes to get from point A to point B.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the company vehicle at all times.
Provide effective communication to Fleet Program Manager and/or vehicle’s appropriate coordinator, regarding vehicle issues or maintenance.
Handle multiple tasks at once without compromising the quality of work.
Take feedback from the management team and drive actions to completion with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate a great attitude and reflect SIS company principles and values to everyone.
Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained at all times while in uniform.
Tasks will include:
Coordinate, schedule, maintain, and transport vehicles as needed.
Make adjustments to vehicle schedules based on ad-hoc requests.
Provide administrative and resource support for QA/ENG team’s vehicle testing.
Perform monthly vehicle audit
Track accident claims for vehicle damages and repairs.
Provide occasional transportation for engineers.
