This exciting role includes performing traditional System Engineering and Vulnerability research with a focus on OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) and DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities. Support assessments of large scale weapons systems and other national security operations!Qualifications (Level 4):Relevant Degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Information SystemsThe System Engineer shall have minimum 15 years of experience (Degree will account for 4 years and Masters will count for additional 2 years) Additional Certifications can account for time as wellAt least 6 years as a System Engineer lead with experience leading, managing, and collaborating with broad range of organizations and groups and teamsAn ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph required.Customer Specific Requirements:Familiarity with NIST SP 800-160 systems security engineering considerations for systems engineeringFamiliarity with INCOSE defined lifecycle systems engineering processes Proven ability to work independently to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, systemsExperience defining a system of systems architectureExcellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to foster relationship developmentExperience with independent verification & validation of security requirements and capabilitiesFamiliarity with weapons system development, sustainment, and security operationsKnowledge of reliability and/or safety engineering methodsExperience incorporating systems resiliency and security engineering concepts into acquisition documents (e.g., Performance Work Statements)Experience in technical evaluations of contractor proposals for systems resiliency, security, and cyber security considerationsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with embedded systems and RF conceptFamiliarity with space-based systems and/or space support ground systemsFamiliarity with DoD tactical networkingExperience with Systems Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) or similar processKnowledge of hardware, software, supply chain, systems vulnerabilities, anti-tamper and exploitation approachesExperience in vulnerability discovery, and analysis tools, fuzzing tools, and dynamic system analysisWork will be performed in Annapolis Junction and Linthicum, MD area.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.Ready for action?
