JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provides assistance to Facility Management team in completion of multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support/oversee all Cafeteria related functions including Cafeteria, Dining Room, Catering, 24/7 Markets, Coffee Stations, Water Stations (bottled and filtered), Food Trucks, and all special events.Support/oversee all function related to indoor plant management, including watering and general maintenance of pants, installation and relocation of plants, installation and removal of holiday decoration and plants.Support/oversee all Pest Control related functions including verification of all Pest Control supporting documents, Level 1 audits, annual map verification, upkeep of Pest Sighting's Log, and direction/guidance to Pest Control technicians.Support/oversee all function related to Grounds Removal including mowing, irrigation, mulching, trash control, trimming, edging, blowing, leaf removal, and fertilization program. Includes direction/guidance to Landcare on site technician and any other Landcare associates that work on ths tie.Support/oversee all functions related to snow and ice removal on site by giving direction and guidance to Landcare associates involved with these functions.Support/oversee all functions related to AV/Conference Service and specifically to the CBRE AV/Conference Service Technician.Support/Oversee all function related to Site Garment Program and give direction/guidance to all associates on site involved with the delivery and stocking of all site garments. These functions include daily receiving of all garments, verification of quantities received, and stocking of all garment stations.Support/oversee receiving of Lab Gases and Dry Ice Pellets in the Lab Gas room and Lab. This includes escorting and receiving weekly deliveries, signing for weekly delivery, and giving direction/guidance to delivery associates.Support/oversee all functions related to Non-Hazardous Trash removal and recycling materials. This includes all office and cardboard recycling and general trash removal. Gives direction/guidance to on site Non-Hazardous Waste Driver on site.Assist with preparation of all CBRE POs related to Soft Services.Assist with Soft Services CBRE Vendors with any issues related to Coupa A/P system.Assist will Work Orders needed for any Soft Services projects that require permits, including Open Flame Permits, Lock\out Tagout permits, and excavation permits.Become approved for MERP use.Become certified to conduct and/or assist with Level 1 Audits.Assist and any all customers on site with questions or concerns regarding any of the listed services.Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Facility Services related to any Soft Services managed by CBRE at the site.

Minimum of four years of related progressive experience and/or training.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Facility Management certification is desired. Driver's license may be required.COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.REASONING ABILITY Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
