Parsons Federal Intelligence is hiring an Information Assurance Engineer (IAE) responsible for conducting information systems security engineering activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, maintains and implement information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for applications and databasesConduct passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessmentsEnsure that systems and organizational databases are protected from unauthorized access and useMonitor systems, identify threats, and handle disaster recovery operationsAssists in the implementation of required government policy (e.g. NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoringPerforms analyses to validate established security requirements and recommends additional security requirements and safeguards where requiredSupports the formal Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reportsRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI w/ polygraphBachelor's degree and 15 years of related experience; or Master's degree and 12 years of experience#CJClearance Requirement: TS/SCI w/ PolygraphMust be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.Ready for action?
