Job DescriptionYou will collaborate with business partners to identityopportunities to leverage big data technologies in supportof Pharmacy Personalization with a common set of tools and infrastructure to make analytics faster, more insightful,and more efficient. You will build and architect nextgeneration Big Data machine learning frameworkdeveloped on a group of core Big Data technologies. Youwill design highly scalable and extensible Big Dataplatforms which enables collection, storage, modeling, andanalysis of massive data sets from numerous channels.You will define and maintain data architecture, focusing onapplying technology to enable business solutions. You willassess and provide recommendations on businessrelevance, with appropriate timing and deployment. Youwill perform architecture design, data modeling, andimplement CVS Big Data platforms and analyticapplications. You will bring a DevOps mindset to enablebig data and batch/real-time analytical solutions thatleverage emerging technologies. You will developprototypes and proof of concepts for the selectedsolutions, and implement complex big data projects. Youwill apply a creative mindset to a focus on collecting,parsing, managing, and automating data feedback loops insupport of business innovationRequired Qualifications3+ years' experience with Big Data, Machine Learning,and Spark experience building and running products andapplications at scale, in production, in mission criticalsituations1+ years leading team of junior data engineers and/oranalytics-focused teams to deliver complex analyticsprojects on aggressive timelinesPlatforms: Azure Cloud, DataBricks, Hadoop, Spark,Kafka, Kinesis, Oracle, TDLanguages: PySpark, Python, Hive, Shell Scripting, SQL,Pig, Java / ScalaProficient in Map-Reduce, Spark, Airflow / Oozie / Jenkins,Hbase, Pig, No-SQL, Chef / Puppet, GitFamiliarity with building data pipelines, data modeling,architecture & governance conceptsExperience implementing ML models and building highlyscalable and high availability systemsExperience operating in distributed environments includingcloud (Azure, GCP, AWS etc.)Experience building, launching and maintaining complexanalytics pipelines in productionPreferred QualificationsExposure to Healthcare Domain knowledge.Masters in Data Science or Business Analytics experience.Experience with cloud computing environment (ideallyMicrosoft Azure).EducationBA degree required with 4-7+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree or equivalent in ananalytic discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience; ora PhD in an analytic disciplineAcceptable fields include: Information Systems, DataEngineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics,Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fieldCVS will sponsor for this positionBusiness OverviewIt's a new day in health care.Combining CVS Health and Aetna was a transformative moment for our company and our industry, establishing CVS Health as the nation's premier health innovation company.
