Job DescriptionPerform general facility maintenance and sanitation duties. Support production by sweeping and scrubbing walkways, aisles and common areas.Required QualificationsMaintain building, outside perimeter, parking lot, dock doors, levelers and ramp doors in clean and orderly condition.Sweep, vacuum, mop, shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors.Ensure facility is well stocked with cleaning supplies.Set up and clean up after special eventsEmpty trash and recycling receptacles, check open tops/trash compactors and request pick ups through Waste Management.Inspect roof drains and ensure roof is without debrisClean drains from aerosol, flammable room and outside perimeter.Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. Utilize ladders, dust/wash walls, clean ceilings.Weed abatement control and rodent control.Clean and maintain shop area.Clean windows and dust furniture.Clean offices, lunch rooms and restrooms in main building, 1111 , HR and YSC.Clean cardboard conveyor catch pans.Unclog drains, toilets, sinks etc. as required.Monitor baler/clean baler, remove cardboard bales and load bales on trailer.Perform all other duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsMust have previous experience as a sanitation/janitor with proven ability to work independently.Must not have a written warning.Ability to drive forklifts and pallet riders.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Frequent bending/reaching/stooping, constant walking/standing/climbing.
