Job DescriptionWould you like to join Fortune 5 CVS Health leading our dynamic and growing Trade relations team!? As the Senior Director of Trade Relations, you will assist the Industry Relations SVP with negotiation strategies on high-dollar contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers that give to the continued success of CVS Health. In this high profile leadership role, you will direct and nurture a team of outstanding Trade professionals in setting and implementing pharmaceutical procurement strategies that directly supply to the bottom line of a Fortune 8 organization. These strategies will include negotiating limited supply agreements with manufacturers, negotiating rebates where CVS is the PBM, and identifying formulary considerations and positioning.You will have direct account responsibilities for manufacturers and play a large role in maintaining and building vendor partnerships. Trade and industry relation account responsibilities will include the development of manufacturer strategy, pharmaceutical manufacturer relationship management and direct accountability for the rebate contracting of the traditional brand manufacturer team.Required Qualifications-Minimum of 12 years' experience in managed-care which may include PBM or specialty pharmacy or health plan practice.-Minimum of 5 years leadership experience and experience negotiating contracts in the Healthcare or PBM industry.-Experience driving complex contract negotiations and successful completion of contracts, PBM and Managed Care expertise, primarily focused on the management of pharmacy budgets related to manufacturers.-Experience in leading multiple manufacturer relationships to include direct contact with key decision makers.-Travel up to 25 % of the time.Preferred Qualifications-Healthcare professional - RN, RPh - Nursing or Pharmacy experience. -Presentation and public speaking skills. -Strategic vision and critical thinking capacity. -Creative ability to work in various locations across key business units.EducationBachelor's degree requiredBusiness OverviewIt's a new day in health care.Combining CVS Health and Aetna was a transformative moment for our company and our industry, establishing CVS Health as the nation's premier health innovation company.
