Job DescriptionDoes helping patients find tools and services to help drive adherence energize you? If so, come join our Pharmacist team in Plantation, Florida!With the SimpleDose Program, we have a collaborative group of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who deliver new opportunities to patients to help them maintain their medication regimens. Every day, our team provides high levels of customer service to our most chronic patients via both scripted and non-scripted interactions to ensure they have a flawless experience filling their monthly prescription box at CVS Pharmacy. You will help customers by engaging them over the phone, and utilizing numerous software applications to assist with resolution of their needs. Pharmacists work with their internal Team Members and CVS Pharmacy store teams to assist patients with operational needs, as well as identify, present, enroll, and manage patients in the CVS SimpleDose program, with a goal of improving the levels of care provided to our patients.We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, and full-time employees earn 16 days off with additional paid legal holidays. If this sounds interesting to you, come join our team!Required Qualifications-Florida Pharmacist license required, or ability to secure licensure prior to start of employment -1 to 3 years patient care experience in any pharmacy field -Excellent communication skills, including a strong command of the English language and the ability to clearly articulate program details to patients over the telephone-Practical application of knowledge of pharmacy processes and procedures -Ability to utilize active listening techniques and demonstrate empathetic behavior when speaking with patients having chronic conditions and/or complex therapies-Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with patients-Ability to problem solve, and work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team-Ability to complete all required training programs-Ability to obtain Massachusetts and Virginia pharmacist licensure within 6 months of employmentPreferred Qualifications-2 to 3 years call center experience with a focus on excellence in service delivery desired-Bilingual-Spanish-Flexibility in work scheduleEducationPharmacy Degree (Bachelor or Doctorate) requiredBusiness OverviewIt's a new day in health care.
