Our team is looking for a Systems Administrator/ IT Specialist to support and maintain our customers computing resources.
You will also be responsible for maintaining these systems, configuring both operating systems and software products, as well as installing required software patches and security updates for the systems.
In addition, you may provide assistance during test and integration events by resolving system problems, providing system backups, and performing system maintenance.
You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world, cutting edge systems which are changing how Army radar systems develop, sustain and deploy software.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar degree
3+ years experience working as a Systems Administrator of Windows or Unix based servers and systems
3+ years experience using and performing system administrative for Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory and Red Hat Linux
Must possess a Security+ or CISSP certification is required
Experience performing software installs, configures, and troubleshoots computer networks and associated components and provides technical assistance to users
Performs configuration of hardware devices and software components, system back-up, restore, and initialization
Monitors system configuration, server event log, servers, networks and SAN for performance
Possesses knowledge and experience in TCP/IP, information security, user authorization and system administration of Windows and Unix based servers and networks
Participates in the design, installation and administration of local networks using multiple protocols and various computer systems
Installs, upgrades and administers operating systems and application software in multi-user client/server environments
Provides users with network technical support by responding to IT helpdesk issues.
An active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance is required, which requires U.S. citizenship
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
