Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for an Assistant Engineer for our Honolulu office.   Duties and Responsibilities:  
  •  Performs basic engineering calculations and routine engineering functions
  •  Assists more experienced engineers in broader engineering activities
  •  Prepares sketches and drawings
  •  Assists with quantity and cost estimates
  •  Assists in field work

  •  Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
  •  Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
  •  Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  •  Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive
  •  Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  •  Successfully passed the FE exam
  •  Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s   Code of   Conduct and related policies and procedures
  •  Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and   harassment   policies
  Preferred Qualifications
  •  Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  •  Prior work experience with ArcGIS
