WSP is currently initiating a search for a Plumbing Engineer for our Washington, DC office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performance of plumbing engineering and piping systems design and production support from project inception through construction
Leverage analytical and design skills and ability to solve complex technical problems in professional discipline
Utilize advanced analytical techniques and computer software tools and applications (ie REVIT) in solving technical/plumbing engineering problems
Exhibit learned practices to produce high quality technical and professional deliverables on Federal Government/military projects and proposals
Provides guidance and training to entry-level engineers

A minimum of 5 years of experience performing design of plumbing and piping systems
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university
Ability to obtain a US -Government-issued Secret clearance
EIT or eligibility to obtain EIT certification within 6 months of hire
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Strong proficiency in and previous hands-on application of REVIT platform
Design experience on federal and/or military projects
Active US Government-issued Secret clearance
