Wholesale, Wealth & Investment Management and Innovation Technology (WWIT) enables the Wholesale and Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) businesses and partners with stakeholders across the company on enabling business transformation through disruptive innovation technologies such as artificial intelligence/machine learning, quantum computing and block chain. Portfolio and Role Description
Wells Fargo Commercial Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of products and industry expertise to serve the diverse financial needs of companies with annual sales typically ranging from $5 million to $2 billion. As a leader in serving commercial customers, Wells Fargo offers financial services, including credit and treasury management solutions, as well as specialized expertise across industries including Technology, Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, Investor Real Estate and Government. With more than 6,000 team members across 24 divisions and 80 markets nationwide, Commercial Banking provides customers with local service and decision making. India lead of Commercial Banking Technology will be globally accountable and responsible for Customer onboarding and Commercial Banking Robotics process automation end-to-end while playing a key Tech Lead for the Program along with US Leads. This leader will play a central role in driving engineering build products for Commercial Banking Tech including Desired Experience Profile
15+ years of experience, leading technology innovation, preferably in banking and financial services domain with hands-on Tech Contributions. Expertise in business focused software solutions and technology services delivery from an enterprise perspective. Demonstrable success in creating effective technology teams in global business environments. Experience in an in-house center would be desirable. Clear demonstration of ability to manage agile squads across multiple sites working for multiple products (preferably in financial services environment) Good understanding of current and future trends, practices in technology with a bent of innovation to meet banking and financial service processes, regulations and governance needs of the enterprise. Passion in promoting One Technology Culture and global/ local balanced alignment. Clear demonstration of :
Leading People through hands-on technology, functional knowledge and delivery
Drive strategic vision - quality dialogue with senior technology leadership and other stakeholders
Prior knowledge and established track record in:
Engineering and SDLC practices including DevOps and build/release related
Enterprise systems design and Implementation using Java/J2EE, micro services, cloud technologies etc.
UI technologies - Angular, React
Building SOA services and implementation of ESB and onboarding to service gateway.
Good knowledge of OCR, workflow technologies.
RPA technologies - UI Path, Blue Prism
Sensitivity / criticality of business needs in using technology
Understanding and adaption to right operating models with vendors, service providers
Knowledge of banking and financial services and other processes
Knowledge of banking and financial regulations
