***POSITION CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Hands-on with all aspects of the Project Management Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle. Program Management functions to include but not limited to:
Project management, analysis, strategies, recommendations and implementation of project management processes using the knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practices as defined in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) for the Agency.
Responsible for gathering requirements and writing the requirements on projects.
Responsible for writing test cases, testing and coordinate with the team on testing activities.
Responsible for developing project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Develops and implements communication management plans.
Responsible for managing one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity programs and projects; which includes handling tasks that are involved in designing and development, as well as production.
Responsible for tracking costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met. Develops and maintains project documentation.
Will be hands-on with all aspects of the Project Management Lifecycle and Systems Development Life Cycle
Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately at the program level and proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management.
Provide deliverables such as Project Plan, Project Status Reports, Weekly and Monthly Reporting and management duties as assigned or required, Utilize Sprint burn down charts and any other identified project documents and deliverables.
Provide project management support from initiation to implementation of projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, information systems, business administration or related field.
Must possess current Project Management Certification (PMP) or similar
Seven years’ experience with Extensive Knowledge of IT project management and experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
Must possess prior experience with State Government, Medicaid, Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) and Healthcare IT experience
Must be able to organize and lead project related meetings with customer, development staff, and sponsor level staff
Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) MS Project and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to break down prioritized deliverables into individual iterations
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to identify and document system requirements and their constraints/dependencies
