Back Door Receiver will be responsible for validating the quantity of product received and processing vendor invoices and reclamation.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to meet all productivity standards.
Process all Direct Store Delivery invoices daily as the product is received and credit product being returned.
Communicate shrink, fraud or theft opportunities with Store Management, District Coordinators, Division Shrink Manager or Division Loss Prevention Manager.
Report non-critical Direct Store Delivery issues via the Communication BiWay.
Keep back room stock areas and salvage areas organized.
Keep supply area organized and clean.
Help maintain sanitation conditions in entire store, including the backroom.
Must be proficient in Computer Assisted Ordering procedures and reports.
Maintain Vendor relations and communicate vendor service issues to Store Management.
Check in and verify all vendor products.
Responsible for maintaining vendor sets.
Responsible for reclamation and maintain reclamation/receiving area.
Responsible for Key Retailing functions as related to the receiving area.
Reclamations completed and sent out weekly.
Able to communicate with customers and associates.
Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the area of maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Willing and available to work weekends and holidays.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Available and able to perform stock clerk duties and customer service duties as scheduled or assigned.
Qualified and able to operate power machinery and work with various job tools.
Must be able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to help all members of the department.
Able to calmly, courteously and tactfully handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
