Description: Support the growth of Aetna Medicare Advantage membership by assisting the Northern California Sales team. Opportunity for future growth within the Aetna Medicare sales organization.


Fundamental Components: Acts as a resource to sales team leadership and members in the field by assisting with the organization of meetings/events, data entry, preparing reports and shipping materials. Participates in department projects and assists with maintaining tracking documents. Fast-paced and ever-changing environment with minimal travel. Interacts with staff, independent Brokers and Members on a regular basis.
Background Experience: This individual will assist in daily communications with staff and resolving their issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail is required. Multi-tasks to accomplish workload efficiently. Effectively utilizes standard office technology tools in day-to-day work.
Prior experience and/or interest in sales and health insurance products desirable. Additional Job Information: Day-to-day activities include:
Scheduling/negotiating with venues for sales seminars, member meetings, training sessions and other activities to support Medicare sales growth.

Work collaboratively with other co-workers within the Northern California market to perform activities.

Ability to interact with Corporate support staff, brokers, members and potential vendors to schedule needed Medicare sales/educational events.

Ensure that the local market has the tools necessary to succeed, i.e., sales material, enrollment material, and any other sales/marketing collateral to be achieve success in the Northern California market.
