Description: Supports the Aetna One Advocate implementation process and business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of the Implementation Program such as planning, coordination, development, implementation, and prioritizing work. Ensures the end state of the implementation meets business objectives and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Highly collaborative process but in a highly matrixed organization requires managing relationships across multiple functional areas. This role will focus on the Implementation process from Request For Proposal (RFP) through onsite finalists meetings and then from day one implementation through 90 days after go-live or effective date. Highly focused and attention to detail is mandatory but also must have the ability to toggle to communicate issues and progress to our customer base - both internal and external. This role is customer facing and highly visible to our customer base which includes, Plan Sponsors, Account Teams, and A1A Clinical and Operations Teams.

Fundamental Components: Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the A1A Implementation process from end to end or from Request For Proposal (RFP) through onsite finalists meetings and then from day one implementation through 90 days post go-live or effective date
  • This role is customer facing and highly visible to our customer base which includes, Plan Sponsors, Account Teams, and A1A Clinical and Operations Teams among others
  • Lead the entire site visit process across three sites. Run this process end to end including gathering all the relevant information, ensuring notice to all leaders and coordination of required participation needs as well as coordination of all visit details. This requires coordination with account teams, customers, brokers, and the A1A Team. The end result is a "wow" experience for every site visit in support of A1A growth
  • Lead the coordination of all Pre-Implementation audits for customers and brokers
  • Participate in product development and strategic assessments of potential new products and services and analyzing each one's impact on our customers, members, and A1A Teams
  • Highly focused and attention to detail is mandatory
  • Work to ensure all systems are populated and set up to ensure both up and down stream movement of data
  • Must have the ability to communicate issues and progress to our customer base - both internal and external
  • Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization
  • Collaborates and partners to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed
  • Consults with constituents to scope/define project in a highly matrixed organization
  • Influences change in order to improve organizational effectiveness and clinical systems set up
  • Collaboratively works across multiple functions and /or segments to obtain agreement from all impacted parties
Background Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience related to project management
  • Proven track record within Project Management and meeting project dates
  • Ability to toggle between Project Management and customer facing responsibilities
