The Research Solutions Strategic Business Unitis focused on innovating the foundation of FactSet's product offering. By marrying robust content, intuitive applications, and innovative technology, we defend and grow our footprint across several key user classes including investment banking, sell-side research, buy-side research, private equity, portfolio managers, traders, capital markets, investor relations, and media. This SBU contains Core Applications (Universal Screening, Company & Security Analytics, Industry and Markets, Filings, Ownership, Research, News, Charting) and our industry leading RMS suite. The SBU closely partners with the Content and Platform Horizontals on strategy for FactSet Web, Mobile, and much of FactSet's content offering.
The Research SBU is looking to fill the position of Content Manager to participate in the content development of FactSet Signals. This large-scale initiative seeks to drive user actions by delivering specific insights from our collected, derived, and partnered content.
This role will work directly with compelling content and drive the creation of specific signals for client distribution. This effort will necessitate close collaboration with product leadership, content leadership, and other development stakeholders. This vital role will help transform the way users experience FactSet data.
Lead data investigations to ensure meaningful insights and limit further noise for end users
Collaborate with specific content and product teams to capitalize on various data sets
Collaborate with FactSet Cognitive specialists to aid creation of predictive signals
Measure, monitor, and ensure the stability of all created signals
Bachelor's degree desirable, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong performance history (preferably working with data, content, or analytics)
Comfortable with data analysis and in tune with relevance for end users, with a passion for elevating this data
Strong understanding of client workflows (A general understanding of investment banking and asset management and the related analytical workflows preferred)
Exceptional collaboration, organizational & communication skills
Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture
Ability to work flexibly in a highly agile environment
A self-starter comfortable with iteration and ideation
Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
An ability to recognize change and adapt accordingly
