Our Capital Markets team manages the interest rate and operational risks associated with the origination, sale and servicing of mortgage loans, and provides liquidity for the mortgage assets originated by Wells Fargo. Correspondent Operations works within the secondary market on closed loans on most senior-level and/or team-lead responsibilities. Reviews all documentation on most complex closed loans as required. Responsible to ensure compliance with Company policies and government regulations; evaluate documents to ensure no discrepancies causing undue risk to Well Fargo. Functions may include:
Provide work direction
Coaching and training to a team to ensure established standards are being met
Act as escalation point to resolve issues for team members as well as internal partners
Act as a liaison between internal partners and the resolution team.
Process most complex suspended loans
Collaborate viable solutions while balancing high credit quality
Complete service audits on staff
May assist in reviewing and mentoring staff, but no direct supervisory responsibilities

2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Correspondent operations experience
High attention to detail and accuracy skills
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
