As part of Wells Fargo Auto, the Business Systems Consultant 4 acts as a liaison between business groups and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved. Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems, processes, and procedures that meet business requirements. Works with business groups to provide input, resolve questions, assess needs, and recommend changes. Responsibilities include:
Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
Prepares specifications for system changes.
Recommends and initiates systems testing
Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies
Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Works with Microsoft Office Suite
Takes initiative and responds to requests
Participates in and promotes cooperative working relationships across organizations including knowledge sharing and partnership in achieving solutions
Works with user groups to assess user needs, resolve questions and recommend changes
Builds relationships and interacts professionally with a diverse group (internal or external), project sponsor, senior managers, managers, and subject matter experts

Advanced experience facilitating virtual meetings using a variety of techniques to engage the team
5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of auto lending practices, policies, and procedures
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Experience translating business needs into complex analysis, designs and recommendations
Ability to gather and deliver customer requirements, report operational status, engaging team resources, and escalate concerns
Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment
Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
Knowledge and understanding of Agile
A BS/BA degree or higher
Change management experience
Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members

Experience working with a dedicated SCRUM team in an Agile environment
Ability to break down work into themes, epics, and user stories
Experience using different techniques and methods to create and continue a 'shared understanding' across team.
Demonstrated ability to drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
Advanced experience authoring detailed business requirements and/or problem statements using a variety of structured techniques and methodologies
Demonstrated facilitation, leadership and organizational skills in large working sessions
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
