Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.
Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes.
May develop systems test plan components and test scripts. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.
This position is an opportunity to be part of the Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) team within the Enterprise Application Portfolio Management organization responsible for helping lead the definition, execution and governance of the SDLC processes across the enterprise.
- Analyze and document SDLC related processes and procedures.
- Interpret data and execute data and reporting solutions for SDLC governance tracking, and representing that information in the form of charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and Power Point.
- Assist other Wells Fargo groups in understanding the Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle policies and procedures, through informational sessions and violation escalations.
- Collaborate and partner effectively with teams within and outside SDLC to ensure smooth implementation of changes, execution of projects, and to promote overall governance effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 3+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of process design or improvement experience
  • Experience developing improvement processes and implementation strategies
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
  • Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
