Enterprise Database Management is the Center of Excellence for database management within Wells Fargo. The person filling this position must be able to:
Lead E-Business Suite Applications R12.2.x and Database release 12c and 19c High availability projects independently and/or with minimal supervision.
Lead the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's High Availability databases running on Exadata H/W.
Performance tune E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x application environments and 12c and 19c databases in high availability clustered architectures on Exadata platform.
Patch quarterly CPUs and PSUs and Clone R12.2 E-Business Suite environments.
Troubleshoot E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x application issues.
Develop, implement and maintain automation efficiencies using scripting languages (PERL, KornShell) in a UNIX environment and using Autosys.
Develop operational policies, procedures, controls and standards for the Release 12.2.x E-Business Suite Applications and 12c and 19c databases.
Develop and maintain implementation guides, SOPs and maintenance processes and documentation.
Perform Oracle database backup and recovery operations using RMAN.
Perform database environment capacity planning and availability management.
Collaborate with partners to resolve company database policy compliance and vulnerability violations.
Provide 12x7 on-call support for complex production problems to include experience with escalation and communication of the problem to management.
Consult with and advise management on high impact database solutions and database management topics.
7+ years of database design and administration experience
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
5+ years of change management experience
Ability to develop and manage business relationships
Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Other Desired Qualifications
Oracle Certified Professional
Self-starter who can independently handle complex problems and fire-drills.
Oracle DataGuard experience
7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x applications and Oracle Database design and administration experience in RAC environment.
Ability to work additional hours as needed
