The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs. Sr. Data Management Consultants within Enterprise Data Remediation team lead the most complex enterprise-wide data management programs, overseeing Risk and Regulatory data initiatives pertaining to data quality, reporting issues and data element errors. Leads analysis on highly complex multi domain remediation efforts. Serves as single point of contact on high priority issues. Drives solution design and execution of multipronged remediation efforts that span across platforms, subject areas, and lines of business to address enterprise data needs. Establishes communication routines with senior stakeholders and business partners. Our group plays a role in aligning the designed and delivered solutions with the needs of the stakeholders. Those activities include:

Key Responsibilities Include:
Analyzing systems, applications, processes, and related functions currently in use by a wide variety of Lines of Business as they relate to specified data issues in regulatory reporting
Troubleshooting data risks and identifying new or improved data, applications, and processes to address and provide remediation plans to eliminate these risks
Highly detailed documentation of all research data, business partners and key stakeholders interviews, support documentation, and remediation plans to address data issues with responsible teams
Expertly communicating verbally and in written form with business and technical staff, not only informing of findings, statuses, and recommendations to resolve data risks, but to perform a completely smooth transition and/or execution of the plan with issue owners for resolution of the issues
Demonstrate critical thinking skills to identify root cause and gaps, and facilitate credible challenges to meet supervisory expectations for risk mitigation
Provide assistance in identifying, evaluating, documenting, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) relative to the data elements, system, and reporting requirements for regulatory reporting
Demonstrate the ability to confidently present analysis to leadership with recommendations and observations
The successful candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and business problem solving skills with heavy focus on quality, accuracy, and business user interaction. They will be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, have appropriate interpersonal communications skills to be able to work well in either collaborative or independent working environment, and make sure processes are in place to quickly adjust when changes occur. 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
2+ years of financial industry experience
2+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
3 + years of experience communicating system vulnerabilities and remediation guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel
3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both
3+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
2+ years of banking industry experience
Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
3+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
