Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargo's infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer. This Information Security Engineer 5 (ISE5) role is on the Cyber Security Innovation - Strategic Initiatives Group (CSI-SIG) within the Cyber Threat Management group performing application support and engineering for a suite of products supported by the group. The ideal candidate should be experienced in system and application management in environments with complex configurations and rapidly changing requirements. The Application Engineering Team is responsible for production support, release management, vulnerability management and other tasks as assigned for the CSI-SIG suite of applications.
Daily maintenance of the CSI-SIG application suite
Troubleshooting of production issues
Ansible configuration management
Collaboration with development teams
Agile Dev/Ops participation
Note: The preferred work locations are Wells Fargo core locations.
7+ years of information security applications and systems experience
3+ years of web applications experience
3 + years of Unix or Linux administration experience
Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of security configuration management including: linking security policy with security configuration
Knowledge and understanding of network security and network protocols
Knowledge and understanding of vulnerability identification and remediation
System vulnerability detection and mitigation experience
Other Desired Qualifications
1 year experience working in an AGILE DEVOPS framework
2+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such Ansible, Telegraf, Grafana
1+ years of experience with Nomad, Fabio and Consul service mesh/microservices configurations.
2+ years of experience working with Apache Kafka, NiFi and Spark
