This Marketing Analyst, Consumer Insights & Analytics is a new role - with multiple open positions supporting our great portfolio of iconic brands (Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, belVita, Ritz, Triscuit).
Our organization has an opening for a business savvy, highly analytical and detail-oriented candidate to join our growing Measurement team. This strategic role will collaborate with Marketing and Media Leads to drive consumer-centric decision making and help to formulate end to end brand strategy: to support communication strategy and campaign development, consumer targeting, innovation pipeline development, product and packaging, which are all fueling Mondelez's revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is business-minded, consumer-centric and has some level of experience with Digital / Social / Marketing/ Measurement. This person is a strong analyst who enjoys data, testing hypothesis, and influencing executives. Most importantly, this person can turn insights into ACTION!
Key Responsibilities for this role
Consult with marketing leadership to anticipate, formulate, and frame key business questions.
Gather and analyze data, understand trends and patterns, construct story lines to deliver impactful / implementable insights to Marketing, Advertising and Media agencies
Leverage a multitude of data sources to assess consumption drivers across brands, channels, and retailers.
Tracking of new item performance
Risk and opportunity estimations
Monthly reviews and tracking
Tracking, assessing and reporting digital performance and ROI
Evolve metrics and drive reporting automation and visualization
Translate data into actionable insights and actions utilizing engaging 'story telling' and communication
Assist with data inputs for marketing models
Passion and interest in the Food & Beverage/Snacking world
Desire to progress and get promoted through the organization
Undergraduate degree required
Strong skills and comfortability with Microsoft Excel (Tableau is a strong plus)
Preferably some experience in analytics or analytical space
Preferably some experience partnering with marketing/media
A successful history of processing and extracting business insights from large disconnected data sets
Experience defining marketing metrics and reporting performance in scorecard or dashboard to DRIVE ACTION
Knowledge of social listening approaches and best-practices
Strong story building and executive presentation capability
Strong ownership, project management and organizational skills with focus on results / timelines
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
A big plus:
Familiarity with consumption data such as Nielsen/IRI
Experience measuring marketing/media campaigns
Knowledge of data collection for audience building and targeting
Knowledge of the role of digital advertising in the marketing mix and consumer journey
