ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to work in Pax River, MD. The analyst will provide Subject Matter Expertise to the Workforce Proficiency Team as part of NSS-A Global Sustainment Vision.



  • Supports NAE Sustainment Vision 2020 Team Lead with Subject Matter Expertise on Naval Aviation policies, procedures, and techniques
  • Provides input to weekly and monthly team meetings, briefings, and written correspondence
  • Researches, analyzes, and provides recommendations for improved training procedures at Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot repair sites
  • Facilitates the development of the NAE workforce through identification of skills gaps and training opportunities
  • Assists the government customer in the implementation of standardized skills assessments and training
  • Serves as a cross-functional liaison with NAE Sustainment Vision 2020 Team Leads as directed by the government customer
  • Performs highly complex analysis tasks independently
  • Provides technical direction and oversight of less experienced logisticians
  • Provides Project Management for large projects, complex projects, and multiple projects of varying complexity including establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources
  • Provides expert level assistance directly to customers in their area of expertise
  • Communicates with and presents recommendations and solutions to customers from the technical to senior management level


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
    • Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 6-10 years of operational experience (Fleet experience) in the full spectrum of industrial and logistics maintenance planning and sustainment
    • At least 6 of the years in Supply Support
    • At least 4 years of integrated logistics support across the spectrum of ILS elements
  • Strong people skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of government and contractor personnel
  • Strong self-organization and self-initiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Naval and Depot training


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be qualified to obtain a Secret Clearance
