Coordinates the recruitment of hourly field personnel, and provides administrative support to the jobsite. Acts as a liaison between the corporate office and the job site in regard to recruitment and onboarding matters.
Essential Job Functions
Assists with the recruitment of hourly field employees. Works with the corporate office in creating new job postings with corresponding advertising (as needed) for each posting; and updates existing job postings.
Posts positions on corporate applicant tracking system (PageUp) of current hourly jobsite openings. Contacts local workforce centers/job services in the local area of the jobsite to establish/post/ update current openings for that particular job site. Coordinates and attends local job fairs. Works with the HR Recruiting Specialist from the corporate office to schedule advertising and marketing of the job fair.
Sources candidates via local Workforce Center applicants and retrieves candidates that have applied on our website and have been posted on the J:drive. Refers to and retrieves candidates from the Rehire List for possible sourcing of hourly field employees.
Organizes and maintains field hourly applications for the projects hourly hiring needs.
Professionally answers applicant inquiries regarding job opportunities via email and telephone.
Collaborates with jobsite teams to review, screen, schedule, and participate in the interviewing and hiring of applicants for the field hourly, non-exempt positions.
Conducts reference checks on requested applicants.
Schedules and coordinates the onboarding and new hire orientation process for field hourly employees.
Assists with completing and submitting employee documents (W4, I-9, health questionnaires, Training programs, address change, separation of employment, rehire/transfer form, application, EEO form, benefit and insurance information). Ensures employee orientation packets, training programs, and employee handbooks are in supply.
Is a liaison between the jobsite and the HR Recruiting Specialist at the corporate office.
Assists the Project Administrative Assistant as needed.
Performs other duties per supervisors direction.
