Manage financial responsibilities, seasonal sets and the ordering process for the HCC section of the Food department. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.

Essential Job Functions:
Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
Maintain compliance with corporate policies, divisional signing, recovery, planograms, merchandising standards, and shrink control guidelines
Coordinate merchandising of the section
Build and maintain vendor relationships, if applicable
Receive and process freight
Perform inventory control functions, as required
Verify ads and promotions are set to standard
Prepare for physical inventory, as directed
Build displays to plans
Verify accuracy on price changes
Promote and follow Company initiatives
Sell merchandise to customers
Monitor overstock/understock conditions
Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints
Process E-40 Transfers
All store management work with associates to manage all common associate areas (i.e. break rooms and training areas) to make sure they are inviting in appearance and reflect "Our People Are Great"

Minimum Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months Fred Meyer experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum 18 years of age
Ability to pass drug test
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work weekends on a regular basis and overtime as needed
Ability to travel independently on an occasional basis
Accuracy/attention to detail
Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
Familiarity with industry/technical terms/processes
Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines
Valid driver's license
Any licenses or certificates required by federal and/or state
Desired Previous Job Experience:
This Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
Ability to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: Telzon, Shelf Price Audit (SPA) unit
