The Parts Runner is responsible for the safe handling and delivery of aircraft parts and material as required by company. Distributes materials and correspondence throughout the entire CVG operations and to off-site locations. General housekeeping, cleaning, organizing and upkeep of the warehouse facilities and equipment
Operate a forklift to receive parts and load parts on to trucks
Deliver parts to departments and stock parts
Count and identify parts via numbers and names
Assist with various warehouse duties, incoming parts' unloading and loading, pulling orders, packaging shipments, etc. according to Atlas Air approved procedures
Prior to delivery, verify accuracy of part's information (i.e. quantities, part numbers, lot or serial numbers, part description, condition code, expiration date, etc.).
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of moderately heavy weight objects (up to 70 pounds); controlling or driving materials handling equipment in a congested warehouse environment. Occasionally driving through city traffic to make pick-ups and deliveries, or conduct field inventories.
Additional tasks as assigned by Material Operations Supervisor and Leads
Daily cleaning, organizing and general housekeeping of the warehouse facilities
Two (2) years' experience with parts delivery warehousing, distribution or related functions
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous parts room experience a plus
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to work in warehouse environment safely and efficiently
Consistently exhibits satisfactorily levels of performance
Should be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft software
Must have clean driving record and possess valid driver license
Must be able to pass ten year background check and obtain airport security badge
Must be available to work flexible hours as the operation requires, weekends, holidays and extended hours if needed
Must be able to travel as required supporting operational needs.
