Liaison between business users and IT shared services teams. Assists with the development and maintenance of the back office enterprise technology. Documents and configures applications to enable integrations between systems. Validates and tests results to ensure the system is meeting corporate and enterprise needs. May specialize in one or more functional areas such as Finance, Sourcing, HR or specialize in a specific software or system.
Gathers, develops, coordinates, and maintains technical documentation such as process flows, system specifications, business requirements and diagrammatic models for various projects and/or systems from planning phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet acceptance standards.
Takes a lead role in planning, design, documentation, testing and deployment of projects. Assists Project Managers in project timeline definition related to user documentation requirements including review phases, level of effort and duration of requirements management activities.
Leads design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations and information process flow.
Partners with the business to facilitate the implementation of new or modified system changes.
Sets and manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Coordinates and/or performs testing of system modifications and develops systems training and education tools/materials as needed. Validates that user requirements are met by developed solutions.
Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect, and results of systems problems including root cause analysis through problem tickets resolution. Performs program configuration/modification and sets up activities for enterprise systems, if applicable.
Understands the source and use of key business data and prepares analysis reports to enable business and design decisions.
Assists users with understanding company systems and supports users with system issues.
Quickly learns new areas of the business to provide superior support as business needs change.
Applies technology and business knowledge to solve business problems.
Collects and analyze date to enable decision making and process improvement for specialty area.
Cull highly complex data and extrapolate trends and patterns .
Identifies opportunity trends and recommend solutions.
Designs and preps various reports, charts, graphs to depict trends.
Coordinates and presents various summaries and briefings to senior management.
BS/BA in technical or scientific field
9 years of experience in IT project based environment or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
Functional knowledge of any of the following: Supply Chain, Finance, HR or Logistics
Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex material
Leadership abilities with a track record of developing people and achieving challenging objectives
Experience with business process and system modeling tools such as: Data Flow, Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios
Ability to quickly recognize solutions to arising issues
Strong JDE ERP experience a plus
Business Analysis certification a plus
Knowledge and understanding of web services, SOA, micro services and API bases architectures
