OBXtek is currently staffing a Project Engineer position at Fort Belvoir with a focus on coordinating Information Assurance, Cyber Security, and technical support. The Project Engineer will support a wide array of technical and security-based activities concerning the daily operations of the AESD.
The Project Engineer must have the ability to work with minimal supervision on a wide variety of project types. Strong client skills are essential to the position.
Review and coordinate guidelines and policies surrounding risk and security
Perform assessment of operational system for acquiring ATO using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) including coordination with SCAV and other stakeholders to close any outstanding issues
Have a keen familiarity with the DoD RMF process
Document best practices for security and information assurance based on business and user requirements
Perform technical analyses on legacy solutions and provide potential alternatives that will improve AESD processes
Support AESD testing and validation efforts. Specifically, perform information assurance (IA) testing and verification support in compliance and aligned with DoD regulations
Experience with Federal Government, DoD, and/or Army Information Assurance
Knowledge of DoD/Army Information Assurance Policy & Regulations
Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.
Experience with Networking, System Administration or Software Development

IAM Level II (CAP , CASP, CISM, CISSP, GSLC) certification required
BA/BS Degree or equivalent <or> 5 years of practical experience
