The primary role of an Account Service Coordinator is to assist the Vice President, Sales and management team of the Medical division with all internal and external sales needs, including customer support, provider solution programs, technical support, system training and sales analytics.

Working with the Sales Leadership Team, this position will assist in the development, implementation and ongoing management of all programs to improve the effectiveness of our sales team, drive a high level of customer satisfaction and participate with the team to develop sales and operational strategies and goals. The position will provide customer sales support, interaction and site visits as needed and directed.


  1. Trade show coordination and attendance
  2. Performs sales and marketing research and prepares information for special projects assigned
  3. Serves as a liaison between the field sales force and internal departments to ensure accurate communication and project progress is maintained
  4. Takes independent action on handling specific sales issues or requests; reviews information and determines the appropriate course of action
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues upon the demands encountered with customers as well as directly within Concordance
  6. Assists with coordinating sales/operations processes within internal departments. Work with Account Managers (AM) and internal departments to setup and assist projects that might be onboarding a new very large Post-Acute Customer or Long Term Care (LTC) chain. Assist with training and developing Service Coordinators.
  7. Facilitates efforts of launching and onboarding high priority new accounts between sales rep and operations. . This includes coordinating the setup process with operations on usage, inventory, routes, customer setup, backorders, reporting, u-command with IT, compliance, etc.
  8. Participates in potential new and existing customer presentations and manages assigned customer projects
  9. Coordinates new sales rep on-boarding and training
  10. Provides training support and in-service to sales team and customers on any / all Provider Solutions and Customer Relations Program (Hubspot) programs, working other departments as necessary
  11. Assists in managing profit project programs set forth by senior management team
  12. Provides feedback to operational team on service failures and monitors action plan for correction
  13. Provides recommendations on manufacturer blanket contracts analysis for missing items to be added for additional profit and increase margin opportunities
  14. Based upon experience and product knowledge, identifies and offers replacement products to customers when products are out of stock as well as makes recommendations for converting product to other private label or manufacturer.
  15. Communicates and assists sales team of new/current manufacturer promotions and initiates plan for ensuring rebate contract account eligibility
  16. Participates with sales management teams in managing the day to day sales function
  17. Assists with sales reports for managing sales processes, creation of reports customer or AM needs for the management of the business.
  18. Assists in the sales reps programs by providing statistical information and analytics.
  19. Coordinates data from a variety of sources for inclusion into reports and communications
  20. Various administrative tasks and responsibilities; include maintaining and updating of project plans, sales leadership minutes, etc.

  21. Travel required up to 50% of time for local, regional and national travel, as needed. Will work in the local office and in the field, as needed and/or assigned.
  22. Other duties as assigned.

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or above; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or marketing organization
  • Flexible with schedule in order to be responsive and have a sense of urgency to provide support and service to our customers.


  • Sales and Marketing, Process Improvement Measures, Understanding the Customer, Reporting and Research Results, Project Management, Account Coordination, Financial and Planning Skills.
  • Must have strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
