Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with over 4,000 lawyers and staff in 31 offices, is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our award winning, in-house Creative Team. Reporting to the Director of Creative & Brand Management, the Graphic Designer will support the Creative Team in the design, editing and production of multi-channel creative assets. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the brand, ensuring all creative work is visually cohesive and connected and developing new ideas for consideration. Projects include email campaigns, social campaigns, brochures, presentations, infographics, and advertisements.
Candidates must be agile, creative, comfortable designing within brand guidelines and templates, self-motivated and detail-oriented, committed to excellence in the workplace, have outstanding organizational and communication skills and a client first approach.
Concept and design in multiple channels including digital, print, and environmental design
Design and code clean, mobile friendly HTML communications including email communications, newsletters, and banner ads
Create templated and custom graphics for digital communications including social media graphics, infographics, motion graphics, and presentations
Create templated and custom graphics for print brochures, direct mail, advertisements, books, and promotional items
Customize and utilize branded digital and print templates for targeted campaigns
Collaborate with internal teams and internal clients to ensure consistency of brand identity
Participate in brainstorms and creative strategy meetings
Work with senior designers and the Graphic Design Manager to develop new designs and templates for the firm's communications vehicles and execute on the development of new designs based on the direction provided.
Interface with in-house and outside vendor sources to ensure that production quality standards and deadlines are met
Manage projects to completion, through initial layout, modification, approval and production.
Liaises with clients to discuss project requests and best solutions
Maintain project lists on the project management database
Handle administrative and other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Fine Arts, Graphic Arts or a related field) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 5 years of design experience or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
Creativity with the ability to follow brand guidelines
Attentive to small details and meticulous in execution
Strong conceptual thinker, ability to think across multiple platforms of communication
Ability to contribute through the entire design life cycle, from producing rough concepts to delivering a polished design solution
Ability to work and collaborate with creative team members, including Designers, Editors, Producers, Developers and other partners
Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously, small or large, with various project leads and prioritize on the fly
Ability to take ownership of projects, as well as willingness to step in to help others as needed
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and strategy behind design concepts at a high level
Proven ability to listen, digest and resolve client feedback with creative solutions and a positive, can-do attitude
Experience designing for print, including branding and environmental design
Experience in preparing digital files for print and web production
Self-sufficient in terms of time management and ideation
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design programs, (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, After Effects) and PowerPoint
Ability to illustrate, sketch and animate ideas when necessary
High proficiency in web development toolsets (HTML, CSS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Portfolio or work samples that demonstrate necessary design skills

This position requires flexibility to work occasional overtime, including evening and weekend hours, and occasional interoffice travel.
