Job Description



We provide facility condition assessment (FCA), long-range capital planning, facility master planning, and associated capital asset management software services for public- and private-sector clients across the United States and throughout the world. We are seeking a strong seller/doer to lead our facilities assessment group and develop new clients.

Our Assessors work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying architectural and/or engineering standards, practices, and techniques. As a Program Director for this group, you will play a key role in developing business strategy and business development functions to secure new clients, managing a portfolio of facility assessment and capital planning projects, managing the allocation of resources, and supporting the delivery of contractual requirements. At this level, you will be the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution and will be expected to negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. In this role, you will be expected to plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project and/or area.

The successful candidate will be an effective "seller/doer" that balances business development, proposal development, operational management, and project management responsibilities. You will be expected to collaborate with our BD team to market and secure additional work with current and identify new clients. Willingness to travel to client or project site locations is expected.

The successful candidate will have experience selling and performing most or all of the following services.

  • Facility asset inventory
  • Facility condition assessment
  • Adequacy/suitability assessment
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance assessment
  • Building and life/safety code compliance assessment
  • Equipment inventory and barcoding
  • Preventive maintenance planning
  • American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Levels I and II energy audits Infrared thermal imaging analysis
  • CAD conversion and space inventory
  • Long-range capital improvement planning
  • Facilities master planning
  • Capital asset planning and management software solutions
  • Enterprise asset management system software solutions
  • Training development and delivery

Experience selling and performing the following services would be advantageous.

  • Risk, continuity, and emergency-based (resilience) assessment
  • Security/vulnerability assessment
  • Cybersecurity vulnerability assessment
  • Electrical utility condition assessment
  • Capacity and utilization analysis
  • Demographic studies
  • K-12 enrollment projections
  • Community outreach
  • Sales tax and bond referendum planning support


  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business or Construction Management (or related field) is preferred
  • 15+ years of related experience in Facilities Assessment functions and leadership/PM functions
  • The Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background, as well as previous project management experience on similar Facilities Assessment programs.
  • Prior experience in Business Development functions, proposal writing and securing new clients is required.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
