Job Description

Graphic Designer shall support the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Foundation GEOINT Program Control Office (SFC) by designing and developing marketing material to promote the Foundation GEOINT 3 Dimensional/Geospatial Repository and Data (FG3D/GRiD) program.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Design brochures, slick sheets, banners, presentations, videos and other marketing materials
  • Maintain and update the FG3D/GRID marketing materials
  • Create and maintain SharePoint site
  • Create and maintain Confluence site
  • Review marketing material for design flaws, grammatical errors, and enforce layout consistency
  • Coordinate with external entities to ensure we obtain information from all relevant sources

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Business Management, Advertising and Marketing, or Programming
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, including layout, visual hierarchy, typography, color and/or composition
  • Demonstrated experience creating visualizations or numbers and statistical data using infographics and/or visual storytelling to communicate design ideas
  • Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Suite including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Acrobat.
  • Demonstrated experience using SharePoint and Confluence
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of computer software to generate graphic design
  • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Top Secret SCI Security Clearance w/ Polygraph
  • Minimum seven years relevant experience

DESIRED:

  • Demonstrated experience with GEOINT products, GIS, and creating effective visualization of spatial data with related geospatial software such as QT Modeler, ESRI ArcGIS, UNITY and UNREAL.
  • Experience as a graphic designer or related work role for the Federal Government, specifically the Military and Intelligence Communities.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers at various level to meet their requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing intuitive, graphical user interfaces (GUI) for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and satisfy multiple requirements on time, in an environment where requirements frequently change
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple project with short deadlines

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
