We are currently seeking aCyber Analyst.

In this role you will:

  • Host and network data, can create analytics to look for targets and anomalies) who can write analytics and manipulate/parse data using Python and/or Splunk, preferably has experience with Jupyter Notebooks (though not required).
  • Develop background apps/dashboards with Splunk, ideal power user of Splunk.
  • Translate analyst tasking and requirements into analytic deliverables.
  • Candidate will be a part of the missions teams in order to help mission analyst determine what types of data and analytics they'll need and if the analytics or parsers for the data do not already exist, bring those requirements back to the development team for prioritization and then develop those solutions.
  • Automate tasks related to Docker, Ansible and Airflow.
  • Communicate plans, requirements, results, and information to the customer at a variety of management levels and technical backgrounds. If you are enamored by technology and eager to sink your teeth into something new, this position, and Parsons, is for you.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Eighteen (18) years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years of experience in engineering and program processes (CM, AQ, Risk management, reporting) software development methodologies, planning, designing, and analyzing processing and storage retrieval systems on a mid to large-scale.
  • A Systems Engineer is not expected to develop code as a primary duty but must be familiar with coding as it affects system development.
  • May substitute:
    • Four (4) years of general experience with a Bachelors' degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or related discipline
    • Two (2) years of general experience with a Masters' degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or related discipline

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
